A group of 12th graders had the opportunity to explore manufacturing and packaging at Phillips Graphic Finishing in Manheim today! Last week, a multi-location field trip was taken to Clark Associates which is a collective of companies in the food service industry, and to Pennsylvania College of Technology a Penn State affiliate school in Williamsport that offers a wide variety of majors. The students were able to take a full day to learn about potential areas of study and possible career paths.

Yesterday, a group of young ladies from 8th Grade Career Exploration Class, had the incredible opportunity to tour a downtown Lancaster penthouse and engage in a “Lunch and Learn” session with Anne Lusk of @luskandassociatessir . Topics discussed were real estate as a career option, as well as tips for becoming a female entrepreneur in a male-dominated field. We are extremely thankful for the hospitality shown by Lusk and Associates Sotheby’s International Realty.

Today, the Lancaster City Bureau of Fire and the Lancaster City Police Bureau stopped by to give our 6th grade Academy a firsthand look at the inside of both a firetruck and a police cruiser! They were able to get their questions answered as to what a day of work looks like for them, and shown how to operate their vehicles!
